I found another pic of Haystack Rock that I liked. I took a lot of photos of Haystack, I find it quite interesting how this huge rock stands out from the shoreline like this. This is the kind of weather we see the most of whenever we get to the coast, but I like this look.

Here is one for Meemoos, a picture from one of the places we like to go camping. It is about an hour away from town pulling the trailer.

Here are today's pix... I accidentally deleted my one blog with my equipment list on it, so since Rayne asked; I have a Fuji S7000 digital SLR with a filter adapter so I can use 55mm filters. It was a spur of the moment purchase without my usual research, and I have regretted it ever since. It has a fixed lens, but at least I can use filters. But it does take a shutter cable and have a hot shoe that I can use my Vivitar flash on. The lens isn't really that great, but compared to other cameras in the price range when I bought it, it wasn't bad. I just wish I had held out for a Nikon D200 (my holy grail) and some nice lenses.
My film camera is a Minolta SRT MC-II with a minolta 55m lens and a crappy Albinar 300mm zoom.
I am trying to find more pix of my area, but unfortunately, all I can find right now are either on slide or printed on film, so I need to scan them.... I will try and start doing that next week.
So here are today's pix. First another sunset on the Oregon Coast. Try as I might, we never seem to get to see a really phenomenal sunset whenever we visit... still hoping to see one some day.

closeups....
first, a sunflower in our backyard a couple years ago... looking to see what kind of color representation the camera had. As you can see in the second pic, the camera doesn't like red all that much... tends to oversaturate it.
